Medical and disability employee issues are some of the most difficult for employers to handle. The laws that apply are complex. We will work with you to develop a plan that is legally sound. Routine follow-up and status reviews are available for a reduced hourly rate.

Comprehensive Employee Handbook

Every employer should have an employee handbook, but many businesses lack the financial resources to pay a law firm to draft one. Most handbooks found on the internet, or that are "borrowed" from some other business miss important details. If a handbook is not tailored to your particular business, it will not mirror your actual workplace policies--a problem when you want to do something that contradicts written policies. Most important, handbooks found online or from other sources may not comply with our state laws. For a reasonable flat fee, we will take the guesswork out of drafting a handbook and create a document that is relevant to your employment practices based on your number of employees. Our handbooks comply with Wisconsin and Federal law.

Basic Package

1 hour of legal work per month on any HR issue (i.e., salary review, policy revision, overtime compliance, difficult termination, disability/injury) that can be rolled over if not used and reapplied or refunded at time of renewal

Enhanced Package

$1,500/month (3-month minimum)

 

Four complimentary telephone calls and/or emails each month to an HR Attorney to answer general and routine questions

 

3 hours of legal work per month on any HR issue (i.e., salary review, policy revision, overtime compliance, difficult termination, disability/injury) that can be rolled over if not used and reapplied or refunded at time of renewal

 

Complimentary 1 hour onsite training or visit per quarter for training, general questions/review, discipline/termination meeting, presentation to workforce, etc. Cannot be rolled over or refunded
