Comprehensive Employee Handbook

Every employer should have an employee handbook, but many businesses lack the financial resources to pay a law firm to draft one. Most handbooks found on the internet, or that are "borrowed" from some other business miss important details. If a handbook is not tailored to your particular business, it will not mirror your actual workplace policies--a problem when you want to do something that contradicts written policies. Most important, handbooks found online or from other sources may not comply with our state laws. For a reasonable flat fee, we will take the guesswork out of drafting a handbook and create a document that is relevant to your employment practices based on your number of employees. Our handbooks comply with Wisconsin and Federal law.
Annual Handbook Review

A good employee handbook is a living document that changes based on your current policies and practices, and changes in the law. After your customized handbook is in place, you have the option of performing an annual review to make sure the handbook continues to fit your business practices, and to perform any necessary legal updates. Documentation of an annual review and compliance with the policies set forth in your handbook may be critical evidence in an employment related legal action.
